Deleting your data

You can delete your NoCo Game Trader account and personal data at any time. There are three ways to do it.

1. From your account settings

Sign in, open Account → Settings → Close account, and confirm. This is the fastest route and takes effect immediately.

2. Through Facebook

If you signed in with Facebook, you can remove NoCo Game Trader from your Facebook settings and request data deletion there. Facebook notifies us automatically and we process the request the same way.

3. By email

Email us from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your profile, photo, bio, and interests
• Your ZIP code and date of birth
• Your listings and their photos
• Your messages, 90 days after closure

What we keep, and why

Two categories survive account closure, and we want to be straight with you about them rather than bury it:

• Records of completed trades. A trade is a permanent transfer of ownership between you and another person. That other person’s record of what they received is theirs, and we cannot erase one side of a two-party agreement.
• Records of which terms you accepted, and when. These are evidence of an agreement you entered into. We keep them for the applicable statute of limitations.
